Payment Information
What methods can I use to pay for my purchase?
Any which way you want really. At Kappi HQ we've gone out of our way to make it as easy for our customers as possible. Credit Card, Debit Card, PayPal and AfterPay (if you're a little short at the end of the month but you've just gotta have that organic cotton grocery bag for the weekend market!).
How do I use a promotional code?
Simply click the button in the pop-up box and the code should be directly applied at checkout. Alternatively, if you're having a little trouble, you can always copy and paste the code at checkout.
How many codes can I use in one order?
We can only use one code at a time. Better check which code you have can give you the bigger discount!
Products and Brand Information
Where are your products made?
When we first started Kappi, we scoured Australia for manufacturers who could provide us with beautifully crafted products at a price-point that would be fair to consumers. Unfortunately, the way the manufacturing industry is structured here in Australia, it makes it nearly impossible for small-scale bespoke items to be manufactured at a price that is not prohibitive to the end consumer. To that end we spent a great deal of time hand selecting a few international manufacturers who possessed the expertise to satisfy our rigid quality demands as well as being willing to align themselves with our mantra of waste reduction.
Our products are made from a few carefully hand-selected manufacturers in China. Emphasis has been made to ensure our manufacturers satisfy industry regulations and that employees are treated ethically. We've also taken great care to eliminate as much plastic and waste from the supply and logistics chain as possible. One of our main successes to date includes ensuring products come to us wrapped in recycled paper and reused newspaper rather than individually packaged in plastic bags. We then reuse this paper packaging as padding when we ship out our products to customers. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
Where is the bamboo used in your products sourced from?
Our bamboo is sourced from plantations in China that adhere to sustainable farming practices. We've ensured that our bamboo is not sourced from areas that have destroyed natural forests in order to harvest bamboo. Since our bamboo is sourced from managed plantations, we have ensured that we are not competing with animals that rely on bamboo as a food source. Don't worry, no pandas were harmed in the making of your toothbrush!
Are your products durable?
Most definitely. We don't believe in planned obsolescence here at Kappi HQ. Kind of counter-intuitive right? Well, we believe in providing customers with a product that will stand the test of time. We don't want them having to come back and buy the same thing because they loved it but it broke. Rather, we want customers to come back because they love their existing Kappi products and want to further reduce their environmental footprint with something else in our range! Long story short, our products are as durable as they are beautiful.
And, on the off-chance that something does happen to go wrong with your product, get in touch with us and we'll sort something out! We have a 12 month warranty on all of our products, so will be happy to replace it for you.
If I place an order that contains both 'pre order' and 'in stock' items, will the 'in stock' items be sent separately? Can I split my order?
If you order a pre order item with in stock items, your complete order will be sent once ALL items are in stock. If you need to receive items separately, you need to place a separate order, as shipping costs need to be covered.
Why do you use Silicone? Isn't that plastic?
Silicone is a much safer choice for our bodies as it contains none of the highly toxic chemicals that can leech from plastics.
Silicone is actually the safest flexible and water resistant material available on the planet. We love that it is heat resistant and incredibly durable. Our silicone products can be used under extreme temperatures like in the oven, freezer and microwave and dishwasher.
Silicone is also more environmentally sustainable plastic, being made largely from sand. Our Silicone Ziplocks are both FDA and LFGB certified!
I don’t like my product, can I return it?
We gladly accept returns of unused items within 30 days of receipt of purchase.
To innate a return, please contact us at info@kappi.com.au and we’ll arrange it for you.
*Please note that all items must be returned unused, and in their original packaging for a refund to be processed.

Help, there's something wrong with my product!

Will my Safety Razor tarnish or rust?
Nope! Our razors are made from a Brass Alloy (comprised of Brass and Zinc). We chose this material for its durability and corrosion resistance, so it won't rust. Looked after properly, they should last a lifetime!
How do I replace the blade in the Kappi Reusable Safety Razor?

Help! I can't get my Kappi Safety Razor to shave properly!
Don't worry, we're here to help! We've found that the most common reason people can't get a smooth shave from their Kappi Razor is because the head of the Safety Razor isn't assembled in the correct order. It's very easy to do, but also very easy to fix! Compare your razor with the images below and see if that helps! The base plate of the razor should be showing the two dots facing towards the handle, and the zig-zag side facing up!
If that doesn't do the trick, perhaps try using a different razor blade as it could be faulty.
Still having issues? Very strange indeed, our Razors are super easy to use and so good at what they do! Shoot us an email at info@kappi.com.au with some images of your razor and we'll get to the bottom of it for you!
What does Kappi mean?
Kappi means 'warrior' in old-norse. We're both enamoured with Scandinavian design, and with Swedish heritage on Fred's side, we felt that it was a good fit for our brand. More than that, we connected with the sound and feel of the word. Simply put, it sounds a bit like 'happy' and that felt like a good fit for our brand.
Kappi is light, bright, sophisticated and just a little bit fierce - like any good warrior should be. Kappi is about standing up and fighting for what we believe in. It's about demanding change, but also about being the change you wish to see in the world.
We wanted to inspire and support our fellow eco-warriors with Kappi and help them unite against this environmental s**t-storm we collectively find ourselves in.
